Bianca Cruz is an editor and professionally trained chef. Previously, she was a culinary editor at HelloFresh, producing beloved recipe cards for customers and an editorial assistant at Clarkson Potter where she worked on titles such as, What’s For Dessert by Claire Saffitz, Go-To Dinners by Ina Garten, and The TikTok Cookbook. She cut her teeth as a culinary professional as a pastry chef at the award-winning restaurant Lilia.
Bianca was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York where she still proudly resides. She holds an English degree from Hunter College and a culinary arts degree from The Institute of Culinary Education. Currently, she is pursuing a masters in Food Studies at New York University with a focus in nutrition and food policy. She was previously a judge in the IACCP awards and is a Taste magazine contributor. One of her most popular recipes was featured in the bestselling cookbook Weekday Vegetarians: Keep it Simple.
Bianca loves cycling (she’s one of the top Citi Bikers in New York City), Star Wars, and The Mets. You’ll typically find her and her Yorkie, Carmelo on her porch in Bed-Stuy or at Citi Field.
